This is simply too good to pass up. Essential information for XX's in a relationship with an XY, and a good lifeline for those XY's that fail to notice these things.
Makeup can emphasize a persons appearance, but attractiveness most certainly goes beyond appearances. It could be advertising, depending on the persons motivation, but it's not false advertising. If you are "reading the ads" so-to-speak, recall Caveat Emptor still applies (and this has little to do with makeup).
I would add one personal opinion to this: The best application of makeup is so subtle that I never notice it is there is the first place. My wife will apply a bit of makeup on occasions, which is nice, but it is never the makeup I am interested in.
I also don't think makeup makes a woman more attractive. And even if it did, it would be false advertising, which is illegal.
