Forty Years since man first walked on the Moon? My how time flies!

This panel of the comic Jeff Hawke published in 1959 depicts the prediction of the date of the first human landing on the Moon with an error of a couple of weeks.
The memorial on the rock says: ON AUGUST FOURTH, EARTH YEAR NINETEEN HUNDRED SIXTY-NINE, THE FIRST BEING SET FOOT ON THE MOON AT THIS POINT. HIS NAME WAS HOMO SAPIENS.
